last week we did  an art called calendar Art. first we had to get in gropes of 2 I was with Ida for that part.  Next we got  a piece of paper  with 8 stars on the back of it. then  after that was the fun part of painting it . there was green , red , gold blue , and perpel . I really enjoyed it! are you going to do it?

every  Monday we do Something called Monday mashup. this Monday I did a Terrarium which is a mini garden in A jar we need  some dirt, sand , plebes , charcoal , mos , rocks for deco , and mushrooms for deco . I liked doing it!

Whaea  Liz telled us their is a spy in our literacy group.

I think the spy is Tilly because she is Ben  acting weird lately. 

For eggsampol  yesterday she  was taking my stuff and writing things   on a piece of paper! But I had a dream last night and Mikayla  was a spy. I spotted  Tilly on the side line of  the  courts  at break time so  I went to her  and  asked a few questions. Tilly  answered all of my questions but not how she normally is. When we went back  to class I saw  her writing in a book! It made me feel  suspishess about her. I’m  going to keep an eye on her.

Last week we went to camp. First, we got on the bus, but my bag was too heavy for me to carry, so Tilly’s mum carried it to the bus for me. It took about four hours to get there by car; we walked a little bit. When we got there, everyone was so tired.  First, we had to get our day pack and put it in our bunkhouse. My bunkhouse room was number 1. There were four activities were mountian boarding, archery tag, breakout boxes and the bouldering wall. My favourite activity was mountain boarding. The camp was great, I recommend this camp, the view is awesome.

Tomorrow, I am going to living springs camp I had a think about how I would feel.

this week we have been leaning about mass. Mass is another word for weight. we weigh in grams(g) and kilograms(kg) we used pan scales and kitchen scales to weigh objects. I weighed a pencil case  and some cards.

we are learning how to write sentences in Te reo Maori My sentences are:1                                                                                                       The  Dog is running. Felix is singing. I am sleeping. you are jumping.

Rāpaki Marae day trip.
This term, we went on a day trip to Rapaki Marae. When we arrived, we were welcomed onto the marae with a traditional pōwhiri. We sang a waiata E te tua to the mana whenua of the marae.

During the trip, I learnt that seaglass is glass that has been thrown into the ocean. My favourite part about the marae visit was finding seaglass because it was fun looking for it. The most challenging part of the day was trying to stop myself going into the water because I really wanted to go in.

Overall, my experience was fun.  I would recommend going there and going to the beach. The RISE value I showed was success by not keeping the shells.  

Today we had a visit from Harry and Sam from the Space Dome. I enjoyed the driving the rover with Harry.  I had fun in the dome with Sam. I learnt the rover was really big.
